Scholarship Background
The Drs Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships fund was established in 2013. This scholarship is OPEN for the 2024 and 2025 academic year. If you are a student from Hong Kong and looking for a scholarship opportunity in the UK, this scholarship is for you.
This is a postgraduate course for HK students. The course will be held in Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland.

Eligibility Criteria: Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships
To apply for the Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships, you have to meet the below criteria.
- You are a student from Hong Kong
- You have a UK honours degree of 2:1 from a UK University
- You have an upper-second class degree in a HK Honour Degree
- You achieved 80% from a Chinese Benke Degree
- You received a post-graduate offer from Edinburgh Napier University
- You completed your deposit payment towards your fees
- You are a student from China

Scholarship Application Procedure
There is now application form for the scholarship. As you will receive an offer from the University, you will have to check and apply for the scholarship upon receipt of the offer.

Scholarship Deadline
There are two scholarship deadlines.
- Deadline for September 2024 session is 21 July 2024
- Deadline for January 2025 session is 21 November 2024
Note that you can apply for both scholarships if you meet all the criteria.
