SOAS is providing the Christoph Von Fürer Haimendorf Fund for International Anthropological Field Research. The scholarship is for 2024/2025 academic year.

In order to qualify for the Fürer Haimendorf Fund for Anthropological Field Research, candidates need to match their research topics with the areas and approaches utilized by Professor Christoph von Fürer-Haimendorf, concentrating on the cultures and communities in South and South East Asia.

Scholarship Application Procedure

To be considered, send in a project proposal of no more than 500 words and a budget by June 14, 2024 to the Departmental Director of Doctoral Studies. The selection committee will determine the annual awards based on the quantity and caliber of applicants received.
